Lunes de Inspo: inspiración colectiva como hábito creativo.

A cultural practice at Blu that fuels collective creativity and strengthens the team’s visual and critical thinking.

At Blu, creativity isn’t something we wait for — it’s something we cultivate. With that mindset, Isma Zurita, Head of Design, institutionalized a practice that has become part of the team’s culture: Inspo Mondays. A weekly dynamic designed to expand visual references, foster critical thinking, and keep the creative muscle active from the very start of the week.

Inspired by the concept of “steal like an artist” —popularized by Austin Kleon in his book and documentary— Isma works under the premise that every piece of design and advertising today is, in some way, a remix. From this perspective, real talent lies not in creating from scratch, but in observing, reinterpreting, and building something new from a blend of influences.

Every Monday, the design team shares visual references, campaigns, compositions, aesthetic movements, or ideas that caught their attention. The goal is not only to spark individual inspiration, but to build a collective library of visual stimuli that can enrich future projects.
